Northborough BOLO Ends with Franklin Woman in Swimming Pool

According to multiple published sources, it all started with an attempt to stop a vehicle on I-495 by State Police responding to a BOLO (be on the lookout) for a specific vehicle issued by Northborough Police.. 

But, again according to multiple reports, the operator didn't stop, ultimately leading police down the interstate to I-95, where the driver headed south, in the direction of Providence.

Eventually, the driver exited the interstate in Attleborough and the State Police reportedly ended their aggressive pursuit. 

However, the vehicle was spotted a short time later behind a home near West Street, Attleborough.  When police approached,  the driver allegedly left the vehicle and jumped into a nearby swimming pool, where police made an arrest. The individual was identified as Shanna Tognarelli, 43, of Franklin and was scheduled to be arraigned in Milford District Court Monday.

Inquiries to the Mass. State Police have not resulted in a response as of press time.
