After 30 Year, Karen Ackles Retires from Religious Ed Post at St. Mary's

Saturday, Saint Mary's parish planned to celebrate 30 years of service by Franklin resident Karen Ackles (Religious Ed Director) of St. Mary Parish and her retirement.

Father Bob and former pastors of the parish planned to concelebrate a 4 pm Mass in her honor.
Karen touched the lives of many Franklin families these past 30 years, according to a colleague. In some years, up to 3500 franklin students each year attended the St Mary religious ed program.
A reception in Sacred Heart hall was planned for immediately after the Mass.
