Franklin 25-year-old Killed in Walpole Crash

The driver of a motorcycle succumbed to his injuries at an area hospital following a collision with a SUV Monday morning in Walpole, Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey and Walpole Police Chief Richard Kelleher announced yesterday. The crash occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. in the area of East Street and Tanglewood Road, District Attorney Morrissey said. The driver of the motorcycle, Spencer Reid, 25, of Franklin, was transported by a Walpole Fire Department ambulance to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to District Attorney Morrissey. 

No charges were immediately filed. The crash is under investigation by the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, Walpole and Mansfield Police accident reconstruction experts, and Walpole Police detectives.

Online School Department documents list a Spencer Curtis Reid as a 2017 graduate of Franklin High School.
