Following a visit to Franklin recently, WBZ-TV meteorologist and reporter, Jacob Wycoff, has gone live with his report on the busy Milford resident who also finds time to volunteer as a bugler on Franklin Common as part of a series of through-the-year rembrance ceremonies that honor Franklin veterans who lost their lives while serving their country.

The bugler Jen Hozempa, is also the program director at Cornerstone at Milford, an Assisted Living and a state-of-the-art memory care program.

She told Wycoff that she believes in honoring veterans and has been inspired by her own father who served on the USS Hoptree (AN-62/YN-83) an Ailanthus-class net laying ship that served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
