Public Art Community Participation Project
The Franklin Public Library is hosting a morning of Rock Painting with local artist and community builder Amy Adams for Project Healing with HeART. Join in to share bright colors and uplifting words as part of a community for public art. The stones will become part of a shared rock garden placed beside our coming WindPhone art installation at the Franklin Sculpture Park later this month. The WindPhone will resemble a type of phone booth, featuring a disconnected telephone to “carry messages into the wind”. This FREE event is funded with a grant from the MassCultural Council and the Franklin Cultural District through the Town of Franklin. Please visit MyWindPhone.com for more on WindPhones.
Where: Franklin Public library - 118 Main St, Franklin, MA
When: Saturday 10AM-12 Noon (or while supplies last)
