Christopher Joseph Kelly, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 15, 2026 at his home in Medway, Massachusetts.

Chris was born on April 30, 1975 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He grew up in North Attleboro, Massachusetts and graduated from Tri-county Regional High School where he studied Automotive Technology. He continued his studies at Wyoming Technology and graduated with an associate’s degree in Applied Science.

Chris worked at Tasca Lincoln Mercury and Rodman Ford as a mechanic and service writer. He then used his mechanical skills as a plant maintenance technician at Breyers Ice Cream in Framingham. It was there that he earned his wastewater treatment license. At the time of his passing, Chris had worked for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority for over 14 years. He was area supervisor of the Clinton Wastewater Treatment Plant for the last several years.

He thoroughly enjoyed camping with friends and family, skiing, and recently became a golf enthusiast. In finding his passion for golf, he joined a MWRA golf league which he enjoyed very much.

Chis loved spending time with his family. He was known for his warm smile, great hugs and dry sense of humor. He always made you feel heard and loved.

Chris is survived by: his parents, Joseph and Anne Kelly of North Attleboro; his brother, Robert Kelly of Middleboro; and his nephew, Wyatt James Kelly of Middleboro. He was predeceased by his brother, Sean Kelly of Charleston, South Carolina. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, beginning with visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the SPERRY-MCHOUL-PICHI FUNERAL HOME, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A memorial service celebrating Chris’s life will commence promptly at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. The Reverend David A. Costa, pastor of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish in North Attleboro, will officiate. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
