Marjorie Carmela (Dangelo) Hanavan, 93,
of Franklin died July 6 at Advinia Care in Northbridge. She was the wife
of the late William “Bill” Hanavan who died in 2016.
Born in Franklin, July 5, 1933, the daughter of the late Severino
and Theresa (Campagna) Dangelo, Marjorie was a lifelong Franklin
resident.
Marjorie was a graduate of Franklin high School.
She had worked as a secretary at Dean College for many years.
Marjorie enjoyed, reading, going out to dinner, cooking and above all spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, John F. Hanavan of Franklin,
Michael W. Hanavan and his wife Elizabeth of Worcester, Terrance J.
Hanavan of Webster, Mariateresa Battite of Blackstone and Tara L.
Clifford and her husband Michael of Blackstone.
She was the sister of the late Norman and Donald Dangelo.
Marjorie is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin, Katharine,
Riley, Jeremy, Kayla, Jordan, Patrick, Casey, Abigail ad Ellarose, and
her great-granddaughter Jeanine.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15 in the Ginley
Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street,
Franklin at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00-1:00 p.m.
