FRANKLIN: Susan Lin Ditmore

Susan Lin (Knospins) Ditmore, 62, of Jamaica Plain was a long-term resident of Franklin Ma where she devoted her life to caring for her beloved family. Susan was a devout Christian who served as the secretary of Federated Church of Norfolk for 15 years and cherished her church community.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years and lifelong best friend, Kinsey Ditmore as well as her mother, Marjorie Knospins, Brother Robert Knospins, his wife Liza, and sister Deborah Johnston.

If you asked Sue about her kids, she would not hesitate to boast about her 3 biological kids as well as their spouses and families. She leaves behind her eldest daughter, Cheryl Ditmore; her second daughter Christina Boitnott and husband Luke Boitnott; and her youngest Son, John Ditmore and his wife Shannon Ditmore and Shannon's sister Kourtney Miller-all of whom she considered her own children. She will also be missed by her favorite, (and only) grandson Odin Boitnott.

Sues family will be hosting visiting hours at Eaton Funeral Home in Needham MA, on Thursday July 23,2026 from 4-7 pm

Her funeral will be held at Federated Church of Norfolk on Monday July 27, 2026 at 1pm.
