William Albinas Kulik, affectionately known as Bill, lived a remarkable life defined by intelligence, curiosity, humor, generosity and an unmistakable individuality. A one-of-a-kind, Bill had a brilliant mind, a quick wit, and a gift for storytelling. He was someone who could make you laugh with a funny story, challenge you with a thought-provoking conversation, or introduce you to an entirely new way of looking at the world.

Born on March 15, 1935, Bill grew up in Brooklyn, New York. His early years were not without hardship, having lost his mother shortly after childbirth. Despite a difficult childhood, he developed a remarkable strength, independence, and intellectual curiosity that would shape the man he became.

Bill's extraordinary intellect led him to Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City, where he pursued his education at one of the country's most distinguished institutions. A lifelong thinker and voracious reader, Bill's passion for books was extraordinary. Books were never simply something to read; they were a source of discovery, inspiration, conversation, and lifelong learning. He was deeply thoughtful, intellectually curious, and progressive in his outlook, always interested in ideas and the world around him.

In June 1960, Bill married the love of his life, Marion. Together they built a family and shared a lifetime of adventures, laughter, and memories.

He was a devoted husband and proud father to William Kulik Jr. (Chesco), Kyra Kulik Johnson (Don), and Jennifer Kulik (Eric).

He was the proud Papasan of his nine beloved grandchildren, KJ, Drew, Bryce, Matt, Jillian, Seychelle, Quinlan, Dylan, and Walker, and his great-grandchildren, Banks and Ruth, who brought another generation of joy to his life.

He is preceded in death by his brother Alby Mazelis.

Professionally, Bill enjoyed a distinguished career spanning more than three decades as a Vice President at Rohm and Haas. His work brought wonderful opportunities and adventures for his family, including living in Argentina, Colombia and later Hong Kong. In retirement he and Marion moved to Vilnius Lithuania to do volunteer work for the International Executive Service Corps. These experiences added an international dimension to a life already rich with experiences, stories, and memories.

For all of his accomplishments and travels, one place held a particularly special place in Bill's heart: Green Hill Beach in Rhode Island. It was his favorite place, a place of happiness, family memories, and a connection that was always close to his heart.

Above all, Bill leaves behind a legacy of family, knowledge, curiosity, and stories that will continue to be told. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His was a life well lived, and there will never be another quite like him.

Services will be private.
