James Warren Rossetti, 79, of Franklin, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Blaire House of Milford. He was the husband of Joanane (Lozzi) Rossetti.

Born April 28, 1942 in Cambridge, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Dente) Rossetti and was raised in Franklin where he graduated from Franklin High School, earned an Associate’s Degree from Dean Junior College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and attended Babson College working towards a Master’s Degree.

Mr. Rossetti worked for General Motors Corporation in Detroit, Michigan for many years until retiring in 1990. He then worked for the Home National Bank in Milford and part time for the Franklin Furniture Company and R.T. Wrentham Supply Company.

Mr. Rossetti was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin and served in the Army in Germany for the 35th Tank Battalion, where he attained the rank of Specialist Fourth Class and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by his aunts, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, September 27 from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com). A vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will take place privately at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to American Diabetes Association or the Joslin Diabetes Center.
