FRANKLIN PLANNING BOARD

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

In accordance with the Town of Franklin Zoning By-Laws, the Franklin Planning Board will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall (and can also be attended remotely) on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 7:05 PM in the Town Council Chambers of the Franklin Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street, for a Scenic Road application for the cutting or removal of trees on Spring Street, prepared by National Grid Forestry, Hopedale MA.

The proposed road improvements will include replacing poles and wires along Spring St to provide power to the nearby solar farm. Dead and declining trees will also be removed to provide proper clearance and improve safety and reliability.

In accordance with the Town of Franklin Zoning By-Laws, the Franklin Planning Board will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall (and can also be attended remotely) on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 7:20 PM in the Town Council Chambers of the Franklin Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street, for a Site Plan and Special Permit application at 585 King Street in Franklin, MA prepared by John A. Kucich from Bohler Engineering, Southboro, MA, Inc. and submitted to the Department of Planning and Community Development, by MP Properties III, LLC c/o Marcus Partners.

The properties are located in the Business Zoning District at the intersection of Rte 495 (Assessors Map 313 Lots 007, 008, 053, 054 and 055) on King Street. The applicant is proposing to construct a new warehouse/distribution facility.
