At least two alert police departments in Southern New England have helped keep Christmas safe.
Friday night, Cumberland, RI police reportedly arrested the infamous Grinch who was allegedly causing a disturbance at a local restaurant. Then, apparently after making bail, he headed for a new area. Police in Dracut, in northeast Massachusetts, say they arrested the Grinch again on Christmas Eve. According to a posting on X:
In the early morning hours of Christmas Eve, DPD officers arrested THE GRINCH who was caught trespassing peoples backyards, stealing presents, and trying to ruin Christmas. ... THE GRINCH was held without bail.
