And, the Winner is...

THE BLACK BOX will welcome back The James Montgomery Band on Friday, April 12 at 7:30 PM with The DayBreakers. As announced over the weekend, the Observer was enabled to give away a pair of tickets to this event. We asked anyone interested to ‘earn’ the tickets by responding to the following prompt:

What do you like or dislike about Franklin's Cultural District? AND, if you have previously attended an event at Black Box, what else did you do before or after attending? The best answer will win the tickets.

We received some interesting and thought-provoking answers. The one we liked best, because it provided more depth and an important insight than the others, we believed, was the following:

What we most like about Franklin's Cultural District is the walking safety, what I mean by that is the number of crosswalk lights giving people the ability to visit their choice of restaurants, stores, and historic sites with the comfort of knowing there's safety in crossing the street. (i.e., RT 140).

I have attended the Black Box several times, although we no longer live near the downtown area, my wife and I enjoy having dinner before the show at Rome restaurants.
