Packed Gala Shows Support for Children's Museum

Two area moms Erin Gallagher and Meg Hagen showed once again that hard work and maybe a little charisma can make magic happen.

In a matter of months, the pair has secured seed funding and grants to eventually create a 'brick and mortar' children's museum here in Franklin. And, to prove the concept, they have hosted multiple 'pop up' museums around town as well. Last night, a gala for the  Children’s Museum of Franklin packed the Black Box with ticketholders paying a minimum of $100 per person and may committing more. Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowitz, a former Franklin resident, was emcee, and much of the cultural and government sector of Franklin was also in attendance.

Still no word (that we have heard) regarding the planned location, but the motto is apparently 'full speed ahead.'
