Cheesy Name Sticks for Franklin 5th Grader

The MASS Department of Transportation has put local students to the task of naming one of their 12 snowplows in their 3rd Annual “Name a Snowplow” contest. The entries were categorized into two sections: K-4th grade and 5th-8th grade. Out of 351 communities, Mason Levin, a 5th grade Oak Street Elementary School student in Ms. Normandin’s class’ entry of “Mac N’ Freeze” was chosen. Congratulations Mason!

Other chosen entries include “Abomindable Plowman” from Framingham, “C 3 P Snow” from Mansfield and “Taylor Drift” from Dighton. You can view the complete list of winners: HERE
