Library Hours
The Library’s hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Library will be closed Thursday July 4th
for Independence Day.

ESL & Adult Literacy Program
The Franklin Public Library has started an English as a Second Language and Adult Literacy Program to serve Franklin and its surrounding communities. Volunteers and students do not need to be Franklin residents. If interested, fill out the registration form on the library’s website.

Get ready for a groovy, fun, and interactive concert with Little Groove! In this fun and interactive 45-minute concert, children ages 0-5 and their caregivers will move and sing along with a musician from Little Groove. No registration required.

Join Miss Lily and create your very own step-by-step painting of summer fruits! This paint party is a great fit for children ages 6-12! All materials will be provided. Registration is Required!

Make some new furry or feathered friends when the Animal Affair Traveling Petting Zoo visits the Franklin Public Library! Everyone is welcome to pet, brush, feed, hold, and play with the animals! Participants are taught the proper way to hold and handle the animals. Animal Affair will be bringing ducks, chickens, goats, pigs and rabbits! No registration required!
Family Yoga! Thursday, July 18th 10:30AM
Come join Katie from Sprouting Tree Yoga for a fun, interactive toddler & kids yoga class. Together we will explore yoga and mindfulness concepts through movement, songs, storybooks, games and more. This class is designed to help your child improve their balance, coordination, and flexibility while learning self-regulation skills and relaxation techniques. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Parents are welcome to participate as well!

Join Leigh Baltzer of Through Me to You Puppetry for a special Puppet Storytime! Crochet FUNdamentals, Friday July 19th @1:00 PM
Come explore the fundamentals of crochet as we work together on a simple project to foster the learning process. In our two hour class we will explore the following; pairing of yarn and hook, gauge, the chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet, and treble crochet. All class materials will be provided. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Franklin Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
