Everybody loves Bill, it seems.

William P. O’Donnell, the long-serving Norfolk County Register of Deeds, claims his tenure has seen extensive and continual improvements in operations, services and efficiency.

And his fans seem to agree. Locally, State Rep. Jeffrey Roy was among the first to endorse O’Donnell’s reelection bid. But not the last. Roy’s predecessor on Beacon Hill, and a former Majority Leader of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Jim Vallee, also endorsed him, along with six-term Franklin Town Councilor Robert Dellorco.

Dellorco, credited O’Donnell’s operations for helping to collect thousands of dollars in Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds “for every city and town in Norfolk County, which help fund important community projects.”

“We appreciate his efforts,” Dellorco added.

“Whether it was about Homestead legislation protecting your house, technology legislation to bring Registry services directly to your home computer, or consumer issues to protect homeowners from fraudulent practices, you could count on Bill to be the lead advocate for the Registers,” recalled Vallee.

Former State Treasurer, Steve Grossman, also was among those who have endorsed O’Donnell.
