Shelter Costs Revealed -- for Norfolk, at Least

Last week, after considerable effort, Republican State Representative Marcus Vaughn (9th Norfolk district) finally got a summary of monthly expenses at the Norfolk migrant shelter located at  the  former  Bay State Correctional Center in Norfolk. The document, reproduced below, speaks for itself, describing some $1.5 million per month in taxpayer costs (including nearly $400,000 for meals) to Heading Home Inc., a third-party supplier to the state.
