John P. Mulligan, 41, raised in Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was born in Northampton, MA to Lee T. Mulligan and Christine (Bologna) Rinaldi. John received his bachelor’s degree in nursing from UMASS and was the Director of Nursing for the Armenian Nursing Home in Jamaica Plain.
He loved to hike in the Berkshires, travel to the islands, go skiing in Aspen, making people laugh and listening to the Beatles. Sadly, John was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Margaret Mulligan and is survived by his father Lee Mulligan of Westfield, his mother Christine Rinaldi and her husband Jay of Becket, a brother Ben Cortis and his wife Shelby of Pittsfield, his uncle Jay Mulligan and his wife Donna, his aunt Jayne Mulligan, a nephew Mason Cortis, his cousins Ashleigh Ortega and her husband Gil, Sarah Cabaral and her mother Carol, his partner Oneil Acosta, Adriana Kelly and her mother Diane and his loyal dog Brook Berkshire.
A Funeral Home Service will be held for John on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 12 noon in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield.
