FRANKLIN: Deede M Williams

Deede Mae (Denz) Williams 77 of Plainville, MA and a former resident of Franklin, passed away in the comfort of her home on November 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Allen J. Williams who predeceased her on June 30, 2021. They shared 52 years of marriage.

Deede was predeceased by her partents John and Mary Jane (Vivian) Denz, her sister and brother in law, Patricia and Milton Clark and nephew Richard Clark.

Deede is survived by her adoring children, Kelly N. Williams and her partner, Scott Imbrogna of Plainville, Sean L Williams and his wife Stacy of Franklin, Kathleen E. Cardinale and her husband Steven of Hopedale. Her loving grandchildren, John A. Casey, Reese M. Williams and Ava L. Williams. She is also survived by her bonus grandchildren Olivia Williams, Jenna, Jamie and Hailey Imbrogna she loved their visits.

Deede is also survived by her sister Debbie Valerio and her husband Ron of Cazenovia, NY, her sister Susan Eberley and her husband Reid of Port Orange, FL, her brother Michael Denz and his wife Mary of Leland NC. Her sister-in-law Barbara Russell of N. Richland Hills, TX and many nieces, nephews, cousins and cousins-in-law.

Deede was raised in WA and AK, they moved many times though her childhood. Deede graduated high school in Seattle WA in 1965 and moved to Utica NY, where she met the love of her life, Allen. They married June, 28, 1969 and had 3 children. Deede was the ultimate caregiver with pure kindness, patience and love. She raised her 3 children and cared for neices, nephews and neighborhood children in her early years. Deede and Allen moved many times during their marrige from NY, to UT, NH, and finally settled in Franklin, MA for over 30 years.

Deede was a member of the Hudson's Junior Women's Club while living in NH. She provided support in the community and met many great friends during this period of time.

Deede obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Framingham State College in 1985.She wanted to pursue an advanced degree in Psychology, unfortunately health issues prevented her to continue her studies. She was so intelligent, her family was proud and valued all of her accomplishments. She worked for Bico Colabrative in the school systems in Franklin and North Attleboro. She also provided respite care in her own home for cognitively and physically challenged children. She loved and cherished these children. Deede retired when her grandson was born and cared for all of her grandchildren for many years.

Deede and Allen enjoyed many trips after retirement to Arizona, Alaska, Caribbean Islands and the frequent weekend trips to the cape and Maine for lobster.

Deede was selfless and loved her family fiercely. She will live forever in the hearts and souls of her family.

The family would like to thank Debborah, our adopted sister who provided excellent care over the last year and a half to our Mom. Dr. Monica Woodward, who always provided compassionate medical care over many years. Hope Hospice for all the emotional support and guidance through this difficult time.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Monday December 2nd, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9-11AM.

Her funeral service will follow at 11AM.

Burial will be at Shepardville Cemetery 67 Taunton St. Plainville, MA.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be sent to Hope Health Hospice 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904.
