FRANKLIN: Philip “Porky” J. Mastromatteo

Philip “Porky” J. Mastromatteo, 69 , died December 8 at the Blackstone Valley Health and rehabilitation Center in Whitinsville following a long illness.

Born in Norwood, November 13, 1955, the son of the late Herbert and Eileen (Lang) Mastromatteo, Philip was raised and had lived for many years in Franklin prior to moving to Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Philip was well known in the local auto body restoration and towing field.

He was previously the Vice President of Franklin Motor Sales; Inc. and he had recently retired as the office manager from Ford Street Automotive.

Philip’s greatest passion was going drag racing at New England Dragway with his friends on weekends for many years.

He is survived by his brother Herb Mastromatteo of Norton, and his sisters Marcia Mastromatteo of Franklin and Carla Ma of North Attleboro.

Following Phillip’s requested all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
