We're Half-Way to July 4, Say Organizers of Franklin Summer Celebration
With less than six months to the start of the annual 4th of July celebration organizers are hard at work preparing for another great event.
The annual fireworks show will be held at 10PM at Franklin High School. The carnival on the town common featuring rides and games from Fiesta Shows will begin on Wednesday, July 2nd and end on Sunday, July 6th.
The 5th Annual Mike Crandall Franklin Blues Festival will be held on Saturday, July 5th. This year’s lineup includes artists Nick Moss and Joanna Connor from Chicago, Mikey Junior from Pennsylvania, and high energy performers Richiman and Groove Nice from Seoul, South Korea.
Michael Dutra and his big band will be performing on Sunday, July 6th and many talented musicians from Franklin are annual staples of the celebration, including Jamie Barrett and members of the Zajac and Padula families.
Many popular food items will return including the world famous fried dough served by members of the Franklin Rod and Gun Club.
