Former Franklin resident James Stephen DiMarco, also known as "Jim" or "Jimmy", age 68, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28th, 2025 at Boston medical Center in Boston MA with his wife Debbie at his side.

Jim was born in Boston, MA on July 13, 1956 to the late Dominic and Dorothy (Pelrine) DiMarco. As a child, Jim moved to Franklin MA and attended Horace Mann Elementary School. He later moved to Norton MA. to live with Charles and Marie Jordan, their children Al Jordan and Cheryl Jordan Bobick whom he grew to love as family. He learned how to ride, take care of horses and attending horse shows. In his youth he was in the Drum and Bugle Corp, Norton High School Band. Jim also attended South Easton Vocational School in Easton MA. As a young man, Jim was a volunteer Firefighter for the Norton Grove Rescue Squad. He worked at 3 Nuclear Power Plants as a "Decontaminate Technician'. Jim had his own business as a "Spray-Paint tub Refinisher", later worked as an "Environmental Technician" for many years.

Jim was a loving, kind and compassionate man who was always willing to help friends and neighbors. What Jim loved the most was spending time with family and friends displaying his sense of humor. Jim will be missed every day and his memory will live on in the hearts who loved him.

Jim is survived by his wife Debbie, stepson Jon Micheal Foster, stepdaughter Melissa Vasilakos, sons James Blanchard, Jason Blanchard, grandchildren Alex, Brandon, Cole, Nia, Eli, and more.

There will be no calling hours. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date for family and friends.
