Medway Seeks Floats for Holiday Event

Image

The Medway Christmas Parade is an annual, privately funded event that marks the start of the holiday season. It generally includes a festive procession of decorated fire trucks, community floats, and antique vehicles. The parade, which is typically held on the last Saturday of November, begins at Medway High School and proceeds through the town, ending at Choate Park. The festivities customarily continue at the park with the lighting of the Christmas tree, a fireworks display, and at the nearby Thayer House, where Santa Claus meets with children for free photos.

Want to enter a float? Here’s the scoop: Floats must be Christmas-themed. Riders under 15 must be accompanied by an adult—no candy tossing. Decorate and bring your own float!

📍 Check-in: Nov 29, 4–4:30 PM, Medway High School
