Robert (Bob) Wilson, died on November 17, 2025, after a brief illness at age 92 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. He was the husband of the late Dorothy L.(Porter) Wilson for sixty-three years until her death in 2021.
Bob was born on October 12, 1933, in Kingston, Pennsylvania and was an only child.
After a tour in the Navy, he met and married, the love of his life, Dorothy Porter in 1958. They lived in Boston for five years. Eventually, with a growing family, they moved to Franklin, Massachusetts in 1964, where they lived for sixty-one years.
Bob served an additional twenty years in the Naval Reserves serving his country. He continued to work in electronics at The Foxboro Company for decades and upon his first retirement he continued to work in local businesses in Franklin in assorted roles.
Survivors include his six children, Robert Wilson and his wife Alice of Memphis, Tennessee, Lynne Wilson of Franklin, Michael Wilson of Franklin John Wilson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Paul Wilson and his wife, Georgia of Clearwater, Florda and Christopher Wilson of Franklin.
Grandchildren include Nicole Wilson, Amanda Wilson, Joshua Wilson and wife Csilla, Augustus Wilson, Octavius Wilson, and Julius Wilson. He has a new great- granddaughter, Zora Wilson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 6 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin .
