A Windy City

In a mid-day Friday report to the Franklin Town Council and  Town and School administration, public safety officials noted that the Fire Department was actively fielding calls for service related to the storm and power outages. At the schools, buses were mobilized early as a precaution.  National Grid was requested to make Oak Street (High School, Middle School, and Senior Center) be treated as a priority for power restoration, along with the Pond Street School location.

Several roads closed throughout town due to downed trees and wires.
