Jill Elizabeth Rappa, 61, of Franklin , died peacefully December 30 at St. Parick’s Manor in Framingham following a long illness.
Born in Norwood, July 30,1964, the daughter of Nancy (Crandall) Rappa of Franklin and the late Robert J. Rappa, Jill was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Jill was a 1983 graduate of Franklin High School and a 1985 graduate of Massachusetts Bay Community College.
Jill had been a secretary at Pike and Krepple in Natick, Keefe Insurance Agency in Franklin and Tri-County Vocational Technical School in Franklin.
In addition to her mother Jill is survived by her daughter Sarah E. Rappa of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
She is also survived by her siblings, Lori Rodriguez and her husband Luis of Lynbrook, New York, Jodi Kanadanian of Franklin, Kristen Gazzola and her husband Marc of Franklin and Rob Rappa and his wife Susan of Franklin.
She was the sister of the late Leslie Rappa.
Jill is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jill was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and even worked part-time for Team Ops at Gillette Stadium. Jill loved playing Bingo at the Franklin Senior Center and at St. Patrick’s Nursing Home and could beat almost anyone playing Gin Rummy card game.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 13 in St. Mary’s Church at 11:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Monday, January 12 from 3-6 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Franklin Senior Center.
