Pamela Jeanne (Wenzel ) Badger, 72 , of Milford, formerly of Medway, passed away peacefully at her home on December 30. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter F. Badger, who passed away in 2022.
Born in Brighton on November 30, 1953, Pamela was the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Gemmel) Wenzel. She was raised in Medway, where she spent much of her life before moving to Milford ten years ago.
Pamela was a graduate of Medway High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from the New England Deaconess School of Nursing. She devoted her career to caring for others, working as a Registered Nurse at New England Deaconess Hospital, Lahey Clinic, and Boston Medical Center. At the peak of her professional career in nursing, she was responsible for operating room procedures and quality in conjunction with surgeries performed by leading Boston physicians in a wide range of specialties. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication left a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike.
Outside of her career, Pamela found joy in simple pleasures, especially gardening and cooking, pursuits that reflected her nurturing spirit.
She is survived by her loving son, Christopher D. Badger of Medford.
She is also survived by her siblings: Suzanne Grillo and her husband Joe of Milford, Mark Wenzel and his wife Elizabeth of Millis, Lisa McDonald of Franklin, Walter Wenzel and his wife Brenda of Medway, and Paul Wenzel and his wife Carolyn of Fort Myers, Florida, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 6, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Medway.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 5, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street, Medway (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
