FRANKLIN: Domenica Arnaudo

Domenica (Annibale) Arnaudo “Mimi” died peacefully on January 9, 2026. She was born in Agrigento, Sicily on May 29, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Giovanna (Messina) Annibale and Paolo Annibale.

Mimi immigrated from Sicily to Montreal in 1955. There she met and married the late Pierre Arnaudo in 1957. Soon thereafter, they moved to Boston for a better opportunity and to raise a family. During this journey, she learned two new languages, English and French. Although this was challenge, Mimi proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1965.

She leaves behind her son Henry Arnaudo, daughter in law, Loretta (Campbell) Arnaudo, of Chatham, her son Paul Arnaudo, the late daughter in-law Theresa Arnaudo, of Attleboro, grandson Charles Arnaudo, of Portsmouth, granddaughter Jacqueline (Arnaudo) Stevenson and husband Zachary Stevenson, of Medfield, grandson Michael Arnaudo and partner Brian Litz, of Chicago, grandson Christopher Arnaudo and fiancée Kimberly Garabedian, of Pembroke, great granddaughter, Campbell Stevenson, great grandson Zeke Stevenson, brother Phillip Annibale, of Montreal, sister Theresa (Annibale) Caldarella, of Montreal, and brother Alfonso Annibale, of Montreal.

She was a longtime employee at the Stop & Shop Commissary in Readville. As a dedicated employee, she was known to walk across the railroad tracks from Dedham just to get to work.

In her later years, she was a volunteer for the Franklin Food Pantry which she enjoyed. Her passion was cooking and sharing meals with family, friends and neighbors. She was known to be a bit of a gambler, she loved bingo, scratch tickets, and playing Powerball.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Tuesday January 13th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 10am-12Noon.

Her funeral service will follow at 12noon.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin.
