Maria C. Kostyshak, 66, of Newton, died peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Care One At Newton.
Born in Framingham on August 15, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anne (King) Kostyshak.
Maria was a resident of Newton for the past six months and formerly resided in Worcester. She grew up in Franklin and attended Franklin public schools.
Maria had worked as a field service engineer at Digital Corporation for many years.
She enjoyed riding horses and studied flower arranging when she was younger.
Maria is survived by her brother Michael Kostyshak of Millville and several cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, January 15 at 11 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway ginleyfuneralhomes.com .
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m.
