More Than A Game: Souper Bowl!

The Franklin Food Pantry has been experiencing a significant increase in the number of households visiting The Pantry. In November and December, experienced 2,461 visits—a 34% increase from the same period last year. Visitors include veterans, seniors on fixed incomes, and families facing unexpected hardships. To help meet the demand for food assistance, and to bring attention to food insecurity, the pantry is participating in SOUPer Bowl 2026—a spirited canned soup drive competition between the Franklin Food Pantry and Weymouth Food Pantry. Last year, our two communities collected nearly 5,000 cans, with Franklin winning by just 205 cans!
