Bruce Kimball Gregory, 91, of Medway, passed away peacefully at his home on May 24. He and his wife Judy shared a long and happy life together for 65 years. Judith “Judy” (Tills) Gregory, passed away on May 3 of this year.
Born in Attleboro on April 4, 1935, Bruce was the son of the late Louis and Mary (Hyde) Gregory. He was raised in Attleboro and lived in New Hampshire for several years before settling in Medway 55 years ago.
Bruce was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He dedicated many years of service to the U.S. Postal Service and was especially well known as the longtime manager of the Medway Post Office on Village Street.
Bruce enjoyed biking and traveling the country in an RV with his wife, Judy, creating many cherished memories together throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada.
He is survived by his children: Barbara Gregory Barnes and her husband, David, of Richmond, Virginia; Lynn Gregory Larkin and her husband, Thomas, of Attleboro; and Kevin Gregory and his wife, Lisa Carl Gregory, of Norristown, Pennsylvania. He was the brother of the late Marylou Poynton.
Bruce also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Crystal, Tyler, Alesya, Sam, Nicholas, Joseph, and Halle, as well as his great-grandchild, Sylar.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home,(ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at a later date.
