He passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 16, 2026 after losing a long battle with the effects of diabetes. He is survived by his children Gianna and Joseph DiMarco, both of Pascoag, RI, his birth mother Lynda Paci of West Palm Beach, FL, his father Peter and his stepmother Chris, both living in Cape Coral, FL, and many relatives and friends in MA and in North Smithfield, RI.
His teen years he lived with his father and Chris in Franklin, MA. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1989. Soon, he began work at Wolkins Paper in Walpole, MA. He attended bartending school in Boston, MA. Then, for many years bartended from Fort Lauderdale, FL to MA and RI. In 2023, he moved to West Palm Beach due to health issues to live with his mother, Lynda, a retired RN. She took wonderful care of him.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church on August 1, 2026 at 11 am. Darius’ ashes will be placed next to his brother Anthony’s ashes in a niche at the Memorial Wall at Holy Trinity Church in Harwich, MA and will be private.
