Carol Mary (Coggins) Foster, 78, of Bellingham formerly of Franklin died July 19 at her home following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Jon Foster.
Born in Jamacia plain, April 24, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Mary (Hough) Coggins. Carol was raised in Franklin and had lived in Bellingham for the past 12 years.
Carol had worked at the former Raschel’s Department Store in Foxboro for many years.
She was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots.
Carol is survived by her children, Kimberly Ford of Woonsocket, and Andrea MacNeil and her husband Bob of Bellingham.
She was the mother of the late Jon Foster Jr.
She is also survived by her brothers, Richard Coggins and his wife Cheryl of Summerton, South Carolina and Gary Coggins of Marlboro.
She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Friday August 14th in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 4-6 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
