Franklin American Legion Team is Tops!

Thursday night, at Fino Field in Milford, Franklin’s American Legion Baseball Team beat a very talented Milford team to win the Massachusetts State Championship!

Franklin’s team finished the season undefeated, the only team in the state to do so.

Although the game was delayed for quite some time due to heavy rain, once the field dried off some and play resumed, Franklin was victorious with a 3-2 win

Coach Tyler Pasquarosa assembled a very talented group of players this year.

Legion Baseball this year, will be played with over 55,000 players, making up 3,400 teams across USA and Canada.

Franklin will now go on to the combined Northeast and Mid Atlantic regional playoffs, which will take place in Shrewsbury , MA on August 5 - 9.

The winner of that series will go on to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, NC.
