MEDWAY: Peter Blades Robinson

Peter Blades Robinson, 72, of Medway died peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on July 28, 2026.

Born in Milford, MA on January 22, 1954, son of the late John N. and Elsie B. Robinson.

Peter was a graduate of Medway High School, class of 1972, Received a Bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State College in 1976. Peter enjoyed running and ran cross country in college and high school.

Peter was an Army Vetran, SP5 Biological Sciences Researcher, stationed at The Presidio of San Fransico, CA and US Army Research and Development Center, Natick, MA.

Continuing his passion for biology research, he worked for New England Nuclear, a subsidiary of Dupont for many years.

He spent his free time playing golf with his twin brother John, inner club members and tournaments at various local country clubs. Peter was an avid fan of the Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics as well as the Professional Golfing Association (PGA).

Peter is survived by three brothers Mark Robinson of Hopedale, Paul Robinson of Norfolk and Keith Robinson of Quincy and three sisters Elizabeth Lowther of Milford, Nancy Gifford of Salem and Julie Gorman of Medway.

He was the loving uncle to fifteen nieces and nephews.

Peter was the brother of the late John M. Robinson and David W. Robinson.

Private funeral services will be held by family.
