FRANKLIN: James F. "Jiimmy" Cornetta

James F. Cornetta, “Jimmy” 75, passed away peacefully on August 4,
2026 surrounded by family. Born on December 5, 1950, to the late Alice
and John Cornetta, Jimmy was a lifelong Franklin resident who was active
in his community.

He
was a loving and devoted partner to Lisa Lapierre for 25 years and a
proud and caring father to his daughter Christa Cornetta and son Jeremy
Cornetta.

Jimmy
was the beloved brother of Janie Hinckley and was predeceased by his
brother in law Dave Hinckley. He was an amazing uncle to his nieces,
Jennifer Winget and Alison Winget; his nephew and wife Gordon and Jenna
Winget; and well loved by the Lapierre family, Roy and Karen Lapierre;
Kim and Jim Kelly; and Christine Dwyer. He will be remembered as well by
his many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended
family members, and dear friends.

Well
known and loved throughout the Franklin community, Jimmy had a warm
heart, an easy smile, and a gift for making people feel welcome. His
kindness, sense of humor, and genuine friendship touched countless
lives.

Jimmy
will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew him. His
legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the friendships he
built, and the many memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed
and forever remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to
attend his funeral Tuesday Aug. 11th, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri
and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass

Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
