Lisa Marie Hadley 64, of Franklin, died peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026 with her devoted sister by her side.

Born August 3,1962 a beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Eleanor (Kobbs) Hadley, she was a longtime Franklin resident and also spent many years living on the Cape.

She was the cherished sister of Karen A. Hadley-Nawrocki of Bellingham and her husband Ron. She was the loving aunt of Nicole (Herrick) Varadian of Norwood, Mitchell Herrick of Franklin, Kathleen (Herrick) Petrie of Bellingham, and sister-in-law of Richard “Rick” Herrick of Westwood. She is survived by her uncle Joseph A. Kobbs of Randolph, VT and her two aunts, Joan M. Ruane of Northbridge and Karen K. Toomey of Stoneham. Also surviving are her dear cousins and her beloved grandnieces and nephews.

She will always be remembered as being fun-spirited, loving her family and having an amazing sense of humor. She loved cooking and enjoyed making new dishes and was known for keeping everyone well fed, especially at the holidays with her famous cheese ball. She loved being outdoors in the Summer and found peace and relaxation at the beach and spending time with her loved ones at the family cottage in Maine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour Friday August 21st, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9:30-10:30AM. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org

A funeral Mass will follow in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square Franklin at 11AM.

Interment will be held at a later date.
