FRANKLIN: Gail Theresa Rogers

Gail Theresa (Mitchell) Rogers, 80, of Franklin passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026 at her home following a long illness. She was the loving wife of Joseph E. Rogers whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Fall River, MA August 22, 1946, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Dunn) Mitchell, Gail was raised in Berkley, MA and had lived in Franklin, MA for the past 58 years.

A beloved wife and mother, she spent many years building a home and raising her children with love and dedication. Later in life she was a children’s daycare provider. She then pursued a career as a Technician at Thermo Jarrell Ash.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Taylor and her husband Todd of Wakefield, RI and Diane Maciejewski and her husband Craig of North Attleboro, MA.

She is also survived by her sister Marcia Mitchell of Mattapoisett, MA.

Gail is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole, Connor, Sara and Adam.

Remembered by all who knew her for her big heart, genuinely kindness and rarely missing her daily walks, which were a special part of her routine. Her greatest joy of all was the beautiful life she built alongside Joseph. Together, they shared a love for visiting New Hampshire and The Cape, creating a lifetime of memories in the places that held a special piece of their hearts.

Gail’s service will be private.
