Gail C. (Richard ) Vendetti, 65, passed away on October 11 at her home with her family beside her following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Jeffry H. Vendeti

Born in Norwood, February 17,1956, the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Graham) Richard, Gail was a graduate of King Philip High School and Fisher Junior College.

Gail had spent most of her career as a medical assistant/phlebotomist, most recently working for Dr. Dillon in Wrentham.

She enjoyed spending time with family, camping, riding her motorcycle and listening to music.

She loved spoiling her dogs Maisy & Daisy as well as her bird Vinny.

Gail lived by the principal of kindness and generosity. To know her was to love her and she loved everyone. She fought her whole life to stay alive, all the time with a courageous attitude that could have changed the world.

She was beautiful inside and out and had an unforgettable infectious smile that made everyone feel welcomed as if they were family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Jeffry Vendetti and his wife Gabby of Blackstone and her brother – in-law David Vendetti of California, and David’s children, Brooke of California and Courtney of Oregon.

She is also survived by her siblings William and his wife Paula Richard of Mansfield, James and his wife Joan Richard of Wrentham, Dorothy and her husband William Cooke of Foxboro, Constance Keefe of Foxboro, Mary McCormack and her husband Richard of Norton and Janet Nickerson and her husband David of Foxboro.

Gail is also survived by countless nieces, nephews and great-nephews as well as many close friends.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 19 in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
