Stephen A. “Steve” Crosby, 69, of Franklin, passed away at his home in Franklin on April 20th surrounded by his wife and children. Born on October 12, 1952, in Framingham, MA to Frank and Joan Crosby, Steve was an industrial painter with local DC35 while working for his father at Roy O. Leonard painting company, eventually taking it over with his brother Frank. He stayed with the union until his retirement in January 2019. Raised in Framingham, he settled in Franklin in 1979.

Known as a kind, funny, and quiet guy, Steve was also a great conversationalist and storyteller. He lived for his family and has always considered himself "the luckiest man on Earth" and was happiest doing anything with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents and in-laws Rene and Em, his sister Gail, and his sisters-in-law Joanne, Barbara, and Wendy, and brother-in-law Bob.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Beth, his daughter Jessica Ternullo and her husband Bob of Franklin, his daughter Leah Silipo and her husband Andy of Milton, and his son Brett Crosby and his wife Claire Eisenberg of Boston as well as his 6 dear "grandies" Olivia, Finnian, Anthony, Keira, Carly, and Bennett. He is also survived by his sisters Dottie Clinton, Cyndi Maley, and Joanne Hewins and her husband Mike, and his brothers Frank and Jim Crosby as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Steve loved the beach, especially time spent at Mayflower and Horseneck with his kids and grandkids, and the beaches of Mexico that he explored with Beth.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, April 28th from 4pm-6pm, in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, Franklin.

Burial will be private at a later to-be-determined date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider sending donations in Steve’s name to the National Forest Foundation at https://www.nationalforests.org/ for reforestation efforts at our national parks.
