July 4 Coalition Finalizes Dates, Events for Holiday Carnival

The July 4 Coalition  chairs, Paul Kortick and Joe Carmignani, met with representatives of the community groups that host food booths Monday evening to share finalized days and hours for the July 4 weekend Carnival.

The announced hours, still subject to change, are:

Friday, June 20  6-10 pm

Saturday, July 1, noon to 10 pm

Sunday, July 2, noon to 10 pm

Monday, July 3, 2 pm to 10 pm

Tuesday, July 4, noon to 6 pm.

Many of the same popular musical acts will be back, along with several "exciting" new performers.

In addition to the food venues provided by the carnival vendors, the following local groups will be providing food:

Democrat Party -- Pizza, toasted cheese, water

Franklin July 4 Coalition -- Soda, seltzer water, ice cream

Republican Party -- Corn dogs, nachos, root beer floats.

Rod & Gun Club -- Fried dough and french fries

Temple Etz Chaim-- Fresh squeezed lemonade, "strawberry dream" and a raffle board.

Franklin Rotary is not participating this year.  Some of the above food items are subject to change.
