Sierra's, a Franklin favorite at its West Central Street "prepandemic" location is back, better than ever, according to the owner, with a full liquor license, a menu packed with favorites -- and community events like a Monday car "Cruise Night."
Proprietor Mike "the Greek" and the businesses founder faced a tough couple of years relocating, dealing with forced business shutdowns caused by COVID, shortages of restaurant equipment, labor and a wintertime frozen pipes disaster that set back the reopening date by many months.
But you would never know it to visit today. Mike says the problems are in the rear view mirror and many customers have been celebrating the return, stopping by and offering encouragement.
And thanks to the recent approval of a liquor license, Sierra's now has what might be the best view from a bar in Franklin or anywhere else nearby -- overlooking Spruce Pond.
