Birch Street Fire Contained early Monday

A residential fire on Birch Street was tackled the Franklin Fire Department just after midnight on  Monday, Nov. 6.   The street, located off of Summer and running parallel to I-495, reportedly lacks hydrant services, which necessitated bringing in water to the site.

At 12:48 am Franklin fire reported the fire  out but crews remained still on scene.
