Friday is Ben Franklin's Birthday. In fact, were he with us today he would be a spry 319 years of age!
Not wanting to miss an opportunity, the Franklin Public Library has organized a Ben Franklin Birthday Bash, oriented toward the town's school age population.
According to Librarian Caleigh Keating, the Birthday Bash will be a playful celebration of Ben Franklin and his accomplishments! Attendees can enjoy music, cake, games and activities inspired by Franklin's inventions, a silly scavenger hunt, a photo booth, and more!
"We're also hoping to do a low-key costume contest! Attendees who dress up in colonial gear OR in their favorite Town of Franklin swag can compete for prizes," said Keating.
