MEDWAY: Dolores J. Ferrin

Dolores Joan (Trust) Ferrin, 92, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025. She was born on February 23, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York.

Dolores recently moved to Medway, Massachusetts, after she spent many happy years in Longmeadow, MA, Naples, FL, and Cape Neddick, ME. Always active and full of energy, she loved playing tennis and golf, taking water aerobics classes, and spending time with friends over mahjong and bingo.

Dolores was the heart of her family — warm, caring, and supportive. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years and will be deeply missed by her children: Eileen Mellor of Franklin, MA; Teri Holton and her husband Jim of Doylestown, PA; Bob Ferrin and his husband Jim of Cape Neddick, ME; and Tom Ferrin and his wife Kerin of Rye, NH.

She also leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her tremendous pride and joy.

Dolores was loved by many and will be remembered for her kindness and zest for life. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service celebrating Dolores’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 12, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Medway, Massachusetts.
