Medway Trash Delay

There will be a one-day delay in trash and recycling pickup this week in Medway due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

• If your regular pickup day is Thursday, collection will take place on Friday this week.

• If your regular pickup day is Friday, collection will take place on Saturday this week.

BSU Students Enchant Audiences in WinterDance 2025

FPAC Nabs $90 k State Grant

Earlier this month, the Healey-Driscoll Administration announced $6.34 million in grants to 65 tourism and cultural development projects through the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism’s (MOTT) Destination Development Capital (DDC) Grant Program. The program supports projects that expand, construct, restore, or renovate tourism destinations and attractions across the state, strengthening regional economies and improving the visitor experience. The Franklin Performing Arts Company received $90,000 for THE BLACK BOX Roof and HVAC Unit Replacement.

A Vigil was Recently Held in Woonsocket for Four killed

A vigil was held earlier this month in Woonsocket for the victims of a double-murder suicide in Woonsocket. Kimberly Pieranunzi was shot and killed by her daughter’s boyfriend, 24-year-old Sean Rivera. Rivera also shot Kimberly's partner, Donald Roderick, before turning the gun on himself, according to reports.
