State Police Meld Art, History, and Fun

meet Ed Locke, the real “Runaway” in the 1958 Norman Rockwell

will supply one to take a Runaway picture of your own. The event is

DUI Arrest

Franklin Police have confirmed that an arrest was made, reportedly in connection with a DUI last Wednesday, involving Carly Blanchard, an individual apparently sharing an address with James N. Blanchar,who was arrested early this summer and is currently awaiting trial in two deaths linked to a DUI on Grove Street. C. Blanchard was scheduled to be in court last Friday.

Flu Up

Officials in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island have reported a sharp increase in the number of flu cases reported. They are also watching for a new flu variant called subclade K, which has helped spike serious cases in the  U.K. and Canada as well as elsewhere in the US.
