Connecting Kids and Books...

An entrepreneur and a teacher have partnered to solve a problem in Franklin.

Erin O'Leary, the reading specialist at the Franklin Middle School, worked very hard to get the new middle school library opened and kids have started checking out books. 

Then the student's asked for some newer titles and since funding was up in the air,  Love Your Shelf, the community book store in Bellingham, offered to partner with Erin at FMS to create a Bookshop.org wishlist for the school. The list was shared with PTO/parents and people in the community, and to date 59 new books have been purchased from the list and shipped to the middle school.
