Robin Alan Chesley, 59, of Medway, MA passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026 at UMass Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family after battling a long illness. He was the husband and best friend of Christine A. (Potter) Chesley for the past 36 years.
Born in Orlando, FL on February 10, 1966, he was the son of the late Donald F. Chesley and Luella (Watson) Chesley.
Robin grew up in Natick and raised his family in Medway. He was a loving husband, wonderful father and Gampy and loyal friend to all. He was a painter, carpenter and master of all trade who was passionate about his work. He worked for many years in the Natick-Wellesley area before his health declined.
Robin enjoyed everything involving his family from a serious round of miniature golf to a Sunday game of Scattagories that would always end under protest. He enjoyed card nights with his lifelong friends and binging old movies and classic tv shows. In good health, Robin enjoyed golf, backyard sports, riding the trails with his ATV and long walks with his sidekick Cookie, the family dog.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Morgan Chesley, Michael Chesley and Amanda Chesley, all of Medway. He was the proud Gampy of Sophia Elizabeth and James Robin.
Survived by his siblings; Dale Chesley of NC and Debra Kiernan of MA. Brother of the late Cheryl Fowler of CT.
He also leaves behind extended family including nieces, nephews and cousins including Darren Kelly and lifelong “buds” he considered brothers as well as close friends.
A celebration of Robin’s life will be held at a date to be announced in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
